The BHS Corporate Video reflects on the founding of the System and the strategic importance of the $57.6 million capital investment and expansion of the BHS-Princeton facility. Princeton Baptist is the largest hospital in the BHS 4 hospital System.
The BHS System has over 4,200 employees. and annual net revenue of over $600 million, and has over a $2 billion annual impact on the local economy.
BHS-Princeton Project Overview
During Groundbreaking Ceremonies on July 14, 2010, Keith Parrott, the Princeton President speaks about the $57.6 million Princeton Expansion Project and shares the details associated with the 90,000 new addition and 60,000 square foot renovation.
The three year construction project will set Princeton apart from other Southeastern U.S. hospitals for it’s Operating Suites and related and support areas with the advanced technology and new facilities.
BHS CEO Television Interview
Shane Spees, the BHS CEO is interviewed by the Birmingham local ABC television affiliate. Mr. Spees shares about the Princeton Project and the commitment that BHS has for serving the Birmingham Community.
Mr. Spees states that the new $57.6 million investment in Princeton will also transform the Western section of Birmingham. He goes on to say that Princeton is a Regional Medical center and is known for it’s excellent Speciality Services especially in Herat and Neonatal Care.

Three Year Princeton Construction Project
In one minute and 11 seconds we see a capture of daily construction activities for the new expansion space at the BHS-Princeton Hospital.
This is made possible by the location of a webcam on the construction site which is there for anyone to observe during the construction phase of the project.
BHS-Princeton Completed Project Overview
After 3 years the Princeton Expansion Project was completed in June, 2013 and Betsy Postlethwait, President of Princeton (KeithPparrot who was President of Princeton when the project began was promoted to COO of the BHS System) provides an overview of the $57.6 million Project.
