Sunbelt EB-5 Regional Center (Sunbelt) is established to promote economic growth within Various Industry growth sectors, improve regional productivity, create jobs, and increase domestic capital investment.
Through the Sunbelt EB-5 Regional Center with offices in Birmingham, Alabama, we are “providing investor capital for economic growth. ” Our focus includes growth industry sector related projects within the geographic region in that Sunbelt will serve.
We believe our growth related projects will not only create new jobs within the communities we serve, but will make a difference in peoples lives.
Sunbelt has been designated as an EB-5 Regional Center by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)., a bureau of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As one of only approximately 1,275 plus nationally recognized Centers (February, 2017), Sunbelt will focus on growth sectors that will lead to economic development and job creation for itʼs various economic regions and will expand to surrounding southeastern states as projects are identified.
Sunbeltʼs USCIS initial designation as an EB-5 Regional Center included all 67 counties in the State of Alabama initially for the healthcare industry. As of August 6, 2013 Sunbelt’s geographical area has expanded and now includes the State of Alabama and 23 Counties into the State of Mississippi.
Sunbelt has received two expansion designations – one to expand itʼs industry focus to include the steel manufacturing segment of our economy and industrial building construction and another one to include the hospitality industry focus and commercial construction along other growth industry segments.
Sunbelt plans to further amend itʼs geographical area of service designation as additional projects become known which take advantage of EB-5 financing in the Southeastern United States.
